I have been training with Suhalia now for six months. My goal was to increase my strength and flexibility to help improve my golf, skiing and general day to day life. I am so pleased with the results. I am definitely stronger and more flexible. My golf handicap has already come down from 14 to 12. I am hitting the ball much more solidly and hitting it further. I also find I am no longer stiff as a board after a game due to the strength and cardio training and the stretching exercises that Suhalia has taught me. I also found the same improvements with my skiing - improved stamina and strength meaning I could ski all day and again was not in agony the next day!

Suhalia has a great personality and I like her approach. She is always well prepared for each session and she's constantly working with me to help me achieve my goals. She knows exactly where I am now, where I am going and how we are going to get there. When I started working out I was not happy with my body, I was very unfit and now my arms an legs are toned up and my stomach is almost gone and now I can finally see my waist line. Also I suffer from an illness called fibromyalgia, and by having stretching sessions with Suhalia, I was able to feel so much more pain relief. I joined smile fitness with a clear aim to get body ready for my best friends wedding. I was unfit, overweight and demotivated but it didn't matter to Suhalia. Straight from the word go she had given me a personal eating plan, training programme and pep talk as to how we were going to reach my goals and when by. I started seeing changes in my physique within weeks of training and my fitness levels were deffinatly improving. As we were training it was great to see my progress from month to month with photos and measuremnts being taken. It can sometimes be hard to see the progress looking in a mirror but with the use of photos we were able to compare each month and tailor the training plan to ensure my goals were being met.

I started working with Suhalia Madison at a time when I realized my
body was the most important vehicle that would carry me to my highest
potential in life. When I realized my body conditioning was a direct
reflection of my mental and emotional conditioning, I decided to
really buckle down and commit. At the time I’d worked with a couple
trainers that gave me a few excercises but that paid little attention
to detail. I was referred to Suhalia and thought based on her looks,
could be cool ‘girl time’ and a fun workout. Well I was right. Suhalia
and I not only became great friends, she became a confidant and a
person I trusted that showed enormous passion for my desire to be Fit!
After a beautiful smile, she’d always greet me with “Have you had a
bite to eat?”, she routinely stretched me then we’d move right into a
unique workout . She allowed me to describe how I wanted my body to
look in the beginning and she knew exactly what to do with it. I was
most impressed and reliant on her technique, form, versatility and
knowledge of the muscles, body and nutritional facts. We’d do
something different every session. We’d have our exercises on the
machines, then we’d do weights and excercises using my own body
weight. She kept it so exciting. We even did drills in the park. I
learned unique lunges, bench work, you name it. All the while, we were
developing a friendship! I trust her, respect her and because of those
factors, my body began shaping immediately. I was easy to guide and I
came with an equal amount of enthusiasm that seemed to fulfil her as
well!
I’ve been traveling, shooting videos and working and as soon as I
settle I can not wait to get back in with my girl! In the meantime,
she checks in on me and gives me tips on maintaining my physique.

Being a golf professional at a Country Club but also still playing competitively in the PGA, my fitness is extremely important to me. Just lifting weights is not going to help me. I needed a fitness program that helped my total overall fitness. That is why Suhalia Madison is the best fitness instructor I have ever worked with. Obviously, trying to swing a golf club every day, my muscles can’t be tight, and my back and core muscles must be strong. My legs have to be strong but be able to fire as fast as they can. Suhalia does this for me every workout. She works me out to feel stronger every day with my golf swing, but also with every thing else that I do. Each workout is different. I have never done the same workout twice. If you are looking to read the paper or a book while working out, this is not the program for you. If you are looking for a total workout that when you wake up in the morning you feel great, and ready to conquer the day, this is the program. Suhalia will make you enjoy working out and training and you will never feel better.

I SMILE because life is too short to let a single day pass without realizing and contemplating the good things. Life is a journey and I’ve learned that it’s the difficult things in life that make us grow. Suhalia radiates happiness every day and always makes me SMILE.
I’ve been a very active woman my entire life, particularly during and after my 9-year enlistment in the U.S. Navy. However, I was diagnosed with a pituitary adenoma several years ago, which caused excruciating headaches, fatigue and double vision. Even after completing treatment, it took a number of years until I began feeling healthy again. My workout routine consisted of regular exercise on the elliptical trainer that didn’t challenge
my body and consequently, the weight that I had gained refused to budge. I knew that I needed something or someone that would challenge my body before anything substantial could begin to happen. After receiving a clear bill of health from my physicians, I decided in January of 2008 to seek the assistance of a personal trainer. An acquaintance at the gym could not say enough good things about Suhalia and I begin training with her shortly thereafter.
The first thing I did was show Suhalia my pre-competition pictures from a 2001 figure event. From the beginning, Suhalia encouraged me to prepare for an upcoming figure competition and with this goal in mind, I put 110% into both training and diet. One of the first things that we did was attend a figure competition together, which motivated and inspired me. So many things about Suhalia impressed me but one of the things that amazed me the most was that her seemingly endless knowledge of exercises. She taught me exercises that I’d never seen or heard of before and designed workouts that kicked my butt and in about 6 months we had sculpted a body better than before! Suhalia added new exercises to our routine regularly so I was never bored. She encouraged rest when I was sick or felt overtired and continually asked me what I was eating – and telling me to eat more! She is a stickler for posture and even today corrects my posture when she sees me. Suhalia is very attentive during training and ensures that every exercise is executed properly.
It’s been 16 months since I began training with Suhalia and although I didn’t compete in the contest I’d hoped to; when I feel that I am ready, I will be the first to enter! In the meantime, I decided to apply my knowledge of biology, physiology and nutrition and the skills that I learned from Suhalia to prepare for the ISSA Personal Trainer Certification exam. After months of studying, I passed the exam with a 91%.
My goals today are to achieve more muscle and a lower body fat. I weight train five days a week with friends and keep cardio to a minimum of 20-30 minutes, 2-3 times a week. Suhalia taught me what I need to know in order that I could continue training on my own with confidence.
I have so much gratitude for Suhalia and all that she has helped me accomplish; I know that she too will accomplish much in her lifetime and I’m so happy to have been a part of it!

If you are seriously interested in getting in shape, I can highly recommend Suhalia Madison. She is an excellent trainer with many years of experience working with all types of people. I am 82 yrs old and I have worked with her for almost 2 years; 2 days a week. In that time, I have gained considerable muscle strength and lost quite a bit of flab from my stomach and chest areas.
